Role Overview:

As a Textile Print Designer at Jynara, you will be responsible for creating unique, on-brand textile patterns and prints. Your designs will play a key role in shaping our collections and connecting with our customers through thoughtful and captivating visuals. You’ll collaborate closely with the fashion and product development teams to bring your designs from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design original textile prints and patterns that align with Jynara’s aesthetic and brand identity.

2. Conduct research on current trends, colors, and print techniques to ensure fresh, modern designs.

3. Develop mood boards and design concepts to present new ideas for upcoming collections.

4. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure print designs are production-ready and cost-effective.

5. Create seamless repeats and placement prints using design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

6. Experiment with various colorways and styles to provide versatile options for each design.

7. Review and adjust designs based on feedback to achieve the desired look and feel.

8. Maintain a digital library of designs and ensure all files are organized and up-to-date.

9. Assist in sourcing inspiration and reference materials to inspire new prints and textures.

10. Stay updated on new developments in printing technology and textile design.

Requirements:

• Currently doing Bachelor’s in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Textile Print Designer, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.

• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or similar tools).

• Excellent understanding of color theory, trends, and fabric materials.

• Ability to create seamless repeats and placement prints on the company's iPad.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a keen eye for aesthetics.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team environment.
